Strategy

Cavendo’s asset management is focused on being local and hands-on. Our in-house team has a broad and deep experience in all aspects of asset management and across all property types. We focus on being on the ground and close to our tenants and visitors to provide the level of service and support that they expect.

Our asset management organization is set up to create results and efficiency for our investors and to take advantage of large-scale investment opportunities. We see asset management as an integrated part of our deal sourcing and acquisition. Asset management must be adapted to the acquisitions that we make and not the other way around.

We think it is essential that we can adapt to the needs of our tenants and their business, the general economy and to events that constantly change. Our teams have to be flexible, never get comfortable and always look for ways to improve that go beyond business plans.

6.1 Asset Management

Sustainability

Cavendo is highly committed to making our properties better for our tenants, partners and the cities we operate in.

We have developed a process to integrate the latest technical solutions in building automation and building technology into our asset management platform. This allows us to quickly assess and take relevant actions that quickly have a positive impact on the energy efficiency of our properties. This process has yielded significant and tangible results in lowering CO2 emissions in our properties, while lowering operating costs at the same time.

By actively participating in, and forming partnerships with public organizations, non-profit tenants and other landlords, Cavendo makes a real and tangible impact on the social situation of the places we are responsible for. In many cases we have been entrusted with managing what is a critical aspect of everyday life for thousands of urban dwellers in Stockholm and Helsinki. It is a responsibility and challenge that we are grateful to accept.
