Jakob joined Cavendo in 2021 and primarily works with investment analysis. Prior to joining Cavendo, Jakob worked as an auditor in the Real Estate department at Ernst & Young. Jakob holds a BA in Accounting from Uppsala University and has studied business at the University of Singapore.

Olof Bergvall

Associate, Investments

Olof joined Cavendo in March 2024 as an Associate in the Investment team. Prior to joining Cavendo Olof spent several years with Hemsö. Olof holds a MSc in Real Estate Economics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

Jacob Engberg

Project Developer

Jacob Engberg joined Cavendo as Project Developer in 2026. Jacob has over 10 years of experience from the Nordic real estate industry with a background spanning residential development, private equity real estate and strategic asset management. Prior to joining Cavendo, Jacob worked at Areim within its value-add funds platform, focusing on residential development, light industrial assets and value-add investments across the full value chain, from acquisitions and business planning to asset management, development execution and exit processes. His experience combines investment logic, operational asset management and development-driven value creation. Jacob holds an MSc in Real Estate and Construction Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, as well as BSc degrees in Engineering and Economics from Linköping University and Stockholm University.

Maria Helling

Centre Manager

Maria Helling joined Cavendo in 2022 as a Centre Manager in Stockholm. Maria possesses 20 years of experience in various area of center management, with expertise in marketing management. Prior to her tenure at Cavendo Maria had various center management roles at Unibail-Rodamco and Newsec. Maria holds a degree in Property Management from Stockholm's Folkuniversitet, a Diploma in Marketing from Företagsekonomiska Institutet, and specialized training in Centre Management from KTH Jönköping

Joakim Karlsson

Partner, CEO

Joakim Karlsson is co-founder and CEO of Cavendo. Joakim has 15 years of experience from the Nordic real estate industry and stated his career at JLL in Stockholm. Prior to founding Cavendo, Joakim served as an Investment Manager at Niam from 2008, where he worked primarily with acquisitions in Sweden and Finland. Joakim holds a BA in Business Administration and a MSc in Economics from Uppsala University.

Juha Kevin

Centre Manager

Juha Kevin joined Cavendo in 2021 and works as a Centre Manager in Stockholm. Prior to joining Cavendo he worked as an operations manager at Tempest Security for over 10 years and serviced several large properties in all aspects of facility management.

Lilit Khachatryan

Portfolio Manager

Lilit Khachatryan joined Cavendo in 2022 as an Asset Manager in Stockholm. Lilit has more than 15 years of experience in international real estate investment companies such as Unibail Rodamco Westfield and NatWest Nordisk Renting. She has expertise in development, asset management, leasing, property- and technical management across all major real estate asset classes. Lilit holds MSc in Sustainable Energy Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology

Maria Kemppainen

Centre Manager

Maria Kemppainen joined Cavendo in 2026 as Centre Manager for Tumba Centrum and Fruängen Centrum in Stockholm. Prior to joining Cavendo, she worked with retail leasing, shopping centre operations and place development across several commercial destinations in Sweden. Maria has an educational background within centre management and several years of experience within commercial real estate. She has worked with leasing within retail, restaurants, cafés, services and pop-up concepts, and has collaborated closely with tenants, partners and local stakeholders. With experience from both operational and strategic roles, Maria is passionate about developing attractive and vibrant shopping destinations.

Emil Lilja Obroucka

Senior Asset Manager Residential

Emil joined Cavendo in 2021 as an Asset Manager. Prior to Cavendo, Emil had several years of experience from K2A and Stena Fastigheter where he worked with asset management. Emil holds a BSc in Retail Management from Stockholm School of Economics and a BSc in Real Estate and Finance from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

Martin Lindblad

Partner, Head of Portfolio Management

Martin Lindblad is a co-founder of Cavendo. Martin has 12 years of experience from Nordic and international property markets. Prior to founding Cavendo Martin had several positions at Niam within Acquisitions and Portfolio Management, where he covered both Sweden and Finland. Martin holds a MSc in real estate and finance from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

Mikael Orkovaara

Asset Manager

Mikael joined Cavendo in 2020 and works as an Asset Manager in Helsinki. Before joining Cavendo Mikael worked in office and retail leasing at Technopolis, CBRE and Kesko. Mikael holds a MSc in Real Estate Finance and Investments from Aalto University.

Joonas Rintala

Interim Asset Manager

Joonas Rintala joined Cavendo in 2023 and works as an interim Asset Manager in Helsinki, Finland. Prior to joining Cavendo, Joonas has worked with construction & development projects, office & retail leasing, and property & asset management at Newsec and Niam. In addition, Joonas has been in charge of construction projects and leasing in Finland for Elkjop Nordic. Joonas holds a BSc in Civil Engineering.

Veronica Rudfelt

Asset Manager

Veronica Rudfelt joined Cavendo as an Asset Manager in Stockholm in 2026. She has 16 years of experience in commercial real estate, focused on leasing across major shopping centres, office properties, high street retail and urban development projects. Prior to joining Cavendo, Veronica worked at Atrium Ljungberg, Veronica holds a MSc in Engineering in Land Surveying from Lund University of Technology (LTH).

Pekka Salakka

Senior Advisor

Pekka Salakka joined Cavendo as a senior advisor in 2018. Pekka has 40 years of experience from both Finnish and international property markets. Throughout his operational career he has held senior positions at CapMan, Dividum and Niam, where he served as Head of Finland from 2007 to 2018. Pekka is also Chairman of the Board at Cavendo OY and a board member in A Ahlström Kiinteistöt Oy. Pekka holds a MSc in Surveying Real Estate appraisal from Helsinki University of Technology.

Luckas Stjernberg

Luckas Stjernberg joined Cavendo in 2021 as Asset Manager in Stockholm. Prior to joining Cavendo, Luckas worked at listed property company, Hufvudstaden AB. Luckas has over 8 years’ experience in high street retail, offices and F&B in Stockholm CBD. Luckas holds a BSc in Real Estate and Finance from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

Anna-Sofia Winroth

Centre Manager

Anna-Sofia Winroth joined Cavendo in 2023 and works as a Centre Manager in Gävle. Prior to joining Cavendo, Anna-Sofia worked as a Property Manager at CBRE Asset. Anna-Sofia has extensive experience within retail and branding as an entrepreneur and holds a degree in indoor climate engineering from Gävle Högskola.
